The knowledge of presenting special equipment, in terms of technique but also of aesthetics, has led to K-array giving life, since 2007, to several educational appointments dedicated to its partners and dealers worldwide. The last of these was held just a week ago in the K-array premises of San Piero a Sieve in Mugello, the green region of central Tuscany, and saw the participation of the Austrian representative Lenz (three people, including the owner) and of the Brazilian Gobos do Brazil (two people) in addition to the Italian exhibitor Exhibo... all partners of K-array for many years.  A good opportunity to learn, but also to share and pool ideas and points of view… and not only on audio. Francesco Maffei, Product Specialist and lecturer at the training sessions says: “A correct technical background facilitates dealers in their day-to-day work of presenting the brand. It has positive effects on before and after-sales assistance making it simpler, and it improves the relationship with the brand. Consequently, we decided to invest in this activity, organising two free monthly meetings for worldwide dealers ; in some cases, the courses are dedicated to the final users and to those who simply want to know more, of course for the latter I present a slightly different programme”. We receive a good deal of requests, which is a sign of the excellent relationship that exists between the dealers and the parent company. The training usually takes place over a three day period: the first is dedicated to the lines of installation products, to the relevant management software and DSP, correct set-up, as well as examples of application and completed projects; on the second day, Maffei gives a brief overview of the systems for the live sector (Redline, KS4, KS4...), examples of setup and applications, and listening sessions are also included; the third day is a "hands on experience" dedicated to the issues of technical assistance. Maffei concluded :“We are delighted with the response to our training sessions; in addition to the advantage of greater expertise, there is also the pleasure of becoming better acquainted with our partners, of meeting them and listening to their needs.. it is not always easy to communicate directly and clearly when we are thousands of kilometres apart...and skype isn’t the answer to everything".
