The passive subwoofer shall be a dual 18” low-frequency range speaker with an onboard Class D amplifier delivering 2 x 2000 W at 4. It shall feature a Speakon connector output and the rear panel shall provide input for a balanced line signal, a balanced microphone signal with phantom power and digital signals in AES/EBU protocol. It shall feature an integrated touch screen to manage and edit DSP settings such as input and output levels, In/Out routing, Speakon output delay, subwoofer delay and overall system delay. All DSP functions shall be controlled with remote managing software via USB or RS485 on standard XLR. The subwoofer frame shall large ports designed to be fully symmetrical to the speakers, allowing for consistent and even back loading without port air turbulence. It shall also feature pocket handles and an M20 thread mount position for attaching mid-high speakers. The power handling capacity shall be 1600 W. The frequency response (+/- 10dB) measured on axis shall be 30Hz to 150Hz with a maximum sound pressure of 140 dB (peak). The dimensions (WxHxD) shall not exceed 94.9 x 48.0 x 60.0 cm (37.4” x 18.9” x 23.6”) and shall weigh no more than 49 kg (108 lbs). The loudspeaker shall be the KMT218P by K-array.
