The portable system shall be comprised of two sets of two self-powered speakers featuring mid-high line array elements matched with a powered subwoofer. The portable system shall be easily transportable and ultra-fast to setup and dismantle. The system shall come with a variety of mounting and rigging hardware options rendering it very versatile in almost any medium sized application such as conferences, DJ sets, houses of worship, theaters, large assemblies, theme parks, retail, live concerts and broadcast. The subwoofers shall feature two channels of Class D amplification housed in a 21” frame with programmable onboard DSP, managed by an integrated touch screen to adjust and edit input/output levels, signal routing, offset delays and Speakon output and overall system delays of up to 330 ms., and multiple analog and digital outputs. This high-performance bass element shall perform at 2 x 2400 W at 4 and boast an SPL of 128 dB in continuous. The subwoofers shall be designed with a unique four-corner port configuration that strengthens the cabinet structure, allows for back loading of connecting speakers and extended bass response with very low distortion. The cabinet of the subwoofer shall feature pocket handles and an M20 thread mount position for attaching the speakers. The partnered speakers shall each consist of twelve 3.15” long excursion, full-range cone drivers with a Neodymium magnet assembly mounted to a 100 cm (39.4”) array in a sturdy steel cabinet enclosure which shall be all-weather resistant, suitable for both outdoor and indoor applications. The speakers shall have true line array characteristics: phase coherence, low distortion and focused listening in both the near field and at a distance from the speaker. They shall have two different impedance settings for a higher or lower impedance (4Ω / 16Ω) and have a nominal horizontal dispersion angle of 90° and a selectable vertical one of 7° or 30° to avoid unpleasant acoustic reflections from both the ceiling and the floor. The power handling capacity shall be 1600 W. The frequency response (+/- 3dB) measured on axis shall be 30 Hz to 150 Hz with a maximum sound pressure of 136 dB (peak). The dimensions (WxHxD) of one unit shall not exceed 55.5 x 55.5 x 76.3 cm (21.9” x 21.9” x 30.0”) and shall weigh no more than 49 kg (108 lbs). The power handling capacity of the loudspeakers shall be 7200 W with a max power of 1200 W. The frequency response (+/- 10 dB) measured on axis shall be 100Hz to 20kHz with a maximum sound pressure of 134 dB (peak). The speaker shall be as invisible as possible and shall be easily integrated in every kind of environment and/or surface. The dimensions (WxHxD) shall not exceed 8.9 x 100 x 11.8 cm (3.5” x 39.4” x 4.6”) and shall weigh no more than 12 kg (26.5 lbs). The subwoofers shall be the KMT21 and the speakers shall be KP102 Kobras to form the KR402 portable system by K-array.
