The self-powered subwoofer shall be a high-performance bass element suitable for high-powered extended bass response applications. The 21” loudspeaker shall feature Neodymium magnet woofers with 6” voice coils driven by powerful Class D amplifiers. The subwoofer shall feature large ports designed to be fully symmetrical to the speakers which strengthens the cabinet structure and allows for back loading on the drivers. The real panel shall provide inputs for both balanced line and digital signals in AES/EBU protocol, also on an XLR for easy of cabling. It shall be complete with an integrated touch screen to provide intuitive managing and editing of DSP controlling. The subwoofers DSP functions, including EQ, shall be controlled with remote managing software via USB or RS485. DSP presets shall be available to optimize the system performance. The power handling capacity shall be 2 x 2500 W. The frequency response (+/- 10dB) measured on axis shall be 25Hz to 120Hz with a maximum sound pressure of 142 dB (peak). The dimensions (WxHxD) shall not exceed 116.2 x 59 x 85 cm (45.7” x 21.9” x 33.5”) and shall weigh no more than 104.4 kg (230.2 lbs). The loudspeaker shall be the KS5 by K-array.
