The passive speaker shall be a ultra-flat strip boasting one of the best performance-to-size ratios, capable of producing an SPL of 108 dB in continuous. It shall consist of eight 1” long-excursion, full-range cone drivers with a Neodymium magnet assembly mounted to a 50 cm (19.69”) array in a sturdy, aluminium enclosure which shall be all-weather resistant — suitable for both outdoor and indoor applications. The speaker shall provide true line array characteristics: phase coherence, low distortion and focused listening in both the near field and at a distance from the speaker. It shall have two different impedance settings for a higher or lower impedance value (16Ω / 64Ω). The loudspeaker shall only be operated by a compatible amplifier with loaded presets onboard. The cabinet of the speaker shall feature a dedicated aluminium bracket or two different threaded anchor points to be installed on a wall or ceiling.
