KOBA, the 24th Korea International Broadcast, Audio & Lighting Equipment Show, was another great success at the COEX Conference Center from May 20 to 23, 2014. Co-hosted by Korea E&EX and Korea Broadcasting Engineering & Technicians Association (KOBETA) and supported by related institutions & groups including Ministry of Science, ICT & Future Planning, the Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy (MOTIE), Korea Communications Commission, KBS, MBC, SBS, EBS, OBS, The Acoustical Society of Korea, Korea Association of Sound Artists, ETRI (Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute).
It is the only specialised global exhibition related to the converging broadcast industry. The exhibition has become a must-attend show not only in Korea but also in the whole of Asia with the show increasing in size considerably each year. Over the last few years we have seen the Korean broadcast market gaining momentum, it was an ideal chance for visitors to see the advanced technology of newly conceptualised broadcasting, audio and visual technology available to the market from some of the major players from around the world.
K-array were amongst those present at the show together with Korean distributor Soundus who displayed a variety of the K-array compact speakers including the KR202 and KR402 systems, the KH4 and KS4 and the innovative award winning KAN200, Anakonda. There were many more on display but these were just a few of the show stoppers.
"We positioned the K-array equipment discreetly yet it’s compact size and flexibility provided plenty of interest, it has been a successful show for us and K-array always seem to steal the spotlight in a good way."
