El Mugello-KS5 es un subwoofer de 2 x 21” increíblemente versátil que cuenta con imanes de neodimio y bobinas de 6” alimentadas por un potente amplificador Clase D. Los puertos de sintonía de gran tamaño están diseñados para ser completamente simétricos con los altavoces, lo que significa que la carga trasera en los parlantes es consistente, pareja y sin turbulencia de aire en los puertos. La composición triangular de los puertos también ofrece una excelente integridad y fuerza estructural, eliminando efectivamente cualquier resonancia del gabinete. El panel trasero provee entradas analógicas balanceadas de línea y digítales en protocolo AES/EBU, también en XLR para un cableado sencillo. Todas las funciones del DSP incluyendo la EQ, pueden ser controladas por un software de gestión remota vía USB o RS485 convenientemente también a través de un XLR estándar. Hay distintos presets del DSP especialmente diseñados por K-array para optimizar el desempeño del sistema en la variada configuración de dispositivos disponibles. Adicionalmente es posible crear, guardar y almacenar presets personales en el Mugello-KS5.
