The mid-2000s was a different time for performance audio systems. Bulky loudspeakers dominated the industry, and it was impossible to transport them easily or integrate them as permanent solutions. Venues were desperately seeking sleek, good looking and powerful systems, which led K-array to introduce a product that shook the industry – which is exactly what we had envisioned.
THE DEBUT OF
the ground-breaking compact column array speaker and the bass bin was a pivotal moment for us. K-array was one of the few forerunners in developing this product, and we created a game-changer for professional audio.
The Pinnacle professional audio system delivered a new level of performance that was unknown for such a small package.
It offered high-impact audio from a speedy system small enough to be transported in a car—something never seen before. Using a column 50mm wide, people could not believe what they were hearing. Pinnacle could slot in almost anywhere. It could carry a theatre or house of worship project and serve as a reliable sound solution for a broadcast studio. It produced impactful audio coupled with ingenious design, which set the blueprint for the future of K-array.

Spearheading this revolution now means we are several generations of products into column array loudspeaker technology.
The introduction of Pinnacle revolutionised the industry, and K-array loudspeakers are based on a few simple principles, which Pinnacle continues to lead.
For example, K-array drivers are precision-engineered, allowing them to be driven harder than others. This higher performance would normally come at the cost of too much heat generation, but K-array’s sustainable aluminium cabinets act as a heat sink. Keeping the drivers cool allows them to deliver more power, even for extended periods. Sustainability is – and always has been – a core design principle of our products.
Pinnacle can also be scaled to your application with the hardware to connect multiple units together. It’s this versatility that makes Pinnacle a first choice for a huge range of projects. We released 1m and 50cm long versions of the column, so you could make up systems of any length using any combination of units.
But nobody’s perfect, and over the years, we have made countless improvements to Pinnacle to make it more stable, versatile, and even more powerful while maintaining the versatility of adjustable angles and modularity.
Most recently, our Thunder-KS integrates a new generation of intelligence – OsKar – into Pinnacle, which was developed using a new sound processor with
advanced components. This allows you to manage the entire ecosystem through various control platforms and offers on-board features to simplify yet extend the applications it can support. OsKar future proofs our products so that we can guarantee the premium K-array experiences for generations to come.

Column array speaker systems offer great performance and easy setup. They’re also thin, making them unobtrusive, flexible, and stylish. The combination of a long row of drivers results in our innovative Pure Array Technology (PAT). Our original column was 2m long, allowing it to cover long distances with uniform coverage.

From painting in a specific RAL to galvanic treatment in gold, rose gold, antique gold, and polished or brushed steel, K-array will make as much or as little of an impact as you require.

Admittedly, we aren’t the only players in the field of high-quality column array loudspeaker technology, but we believe it is our speciality. It’s where we thrive, and we’ve been doing it long enough to know what works and what doesn’t. When the Pinnacle is compared with similar brands, it’s apparent that it can achieve just as much as some of the biggest sellers. Let us demonstrate how.
Our column systems are found in London’s Royal Opera House, La Scala, Havana Theatre, Boston Ballet, and Bellini Theatre in Naples—just some of the most important theatres in the world. We were chosen because of our products' uniqueness and complete versatility. Our reliability was also front and centre on a recent tour of an Italian pop artist in theatres across the region, using only our column systems.
