Family entreprenuers Sepp and Martina Kroell transformed a 14th century family estate into a modern retreat that exudes organic warmth and comfort: the Wiesergut Boutique Hotel, snuggled in Saalbach Hinterglemm, just an hour drive from Saltzburg. The renovation project, headed up by the architectural firm Gogl & Partner, has created a distinctive alpine hideaway distinguished by its modern design and integration with nature. A fixed installation of a modern sound system was an important component of the renovation plan so the architects called upon Musik Lenz GmbH, K-array’s Austrian distributor. 

The team selected a system composed of Tornado-KT20C point sources for calm background music throughout the entire hotel immediately following an onsite demo that impressed the owners, architects and planners alike with their design and performance. The audio system was installed in no less than eleven areas: the restaurant, lobby, tea room, restrooms, dressing rooms, reception, and the fitness and wellness areas. A bit more background music was needed for the bar so a set of Lyzard-KZ14 was installed. The Kroell family was delighted the overall result and K-array’s ability to integrate with the surrounding interior layout.
