MM-Force® by Powersoft is an innovative low-frequency driver platform based on a patented Moving Magnet architecture.
Unlike conventional loudspeakers, where a voice coil moves within a fixed magnetic field, MM-Force keeps the coil stationary while the permanent magnet assembly moves. This approach enables high motor strength improving the relationship between acoustic output, cabinet size, efficiency and mechanical control.
The technology is paired with a compact square diaphragm which helps maximize the radiating area in a reduced footprint, and supports scalable, space efficient LF cabinet design while maintaining an ultra low-profile driver depth .
A key advantage of MM-Force is its inertially balanced motor architecture. As the moving magnetic assembly travels in one direction, a system of homokinetic reversers drives the acoustic-end moving mass in the opposite direction, balancing internal forces and reducing vibration transfer to the enclosure.
By keeping mechanical energy contained within the transducer itself, the system enables precise bass reproduction canceling the transmission of vibrations to walls, furniture, mounting surfaces.
The result is high-performance low-frequency reproduction from compact and ultra low profile cabinet formats, with greater installation freedom and a level of architectural compatibility that traditional subwoofers designs struggle to achieve.
