Core-OS

The unified control interface for audio and lighting: CORE-OS is the web application integrated into the CORE device, accessible from any browser (mobile or desktop) without the need to install additional software or an active internet connection. It provides full and intuitive control of the KSCAPE ecosystem, combining professional lighting management with audio control on a single platform.

1. Access

Open K-Monitor and log in using your credentials. The system automatically scans the network and detects the available devices, identified by their local serial number. By selecting it, the complete list of units connected to the network will be displayed, allowing direct access to control and management functions.

2. Dashboard

2.1 Units

In the Units section, all units detected on the network are displayed, from which it is possible to control the various functions:

  • Single tap on light/audio to turn on or off

  • Long tap on the unit to adjust global brightness

  • Double tap to open the pop-up

Here you can find the main device information: model, serial number, host name, and IP address. The list of connected channels can be managed as follows:

  • Single tap to turn the individual channel on or off

  • Long tap to adjust the brightness of the individual channel

There is a helper that quickly summarizes the available actions.

2.2 Groups

It is possible to create groups, meaning sets of units that can be managed simultaneously, allowing you to:

  • Turn multiple units on and off at the same time

  • Adjust the volume centrally

  • View how many units are included in the group

By double tapping on the group, you can access the control page, where it is possible to:

  • Select the audio player (USB, Radio, Bluetooth)

  • Use playback controls (play, stop, next, etc.)

  • Edit or delete the group

2.3 Scenes

Scenes allow you to create fully customized settings. During their creation, it is possible to: assign a name, select an image, choose the Core units involved, define the brightness level for each channel, set audio levels and input source, select the player, and choose the command to be executed. The scene can be activated with a single tap and edited or deleted with a double tap.

3. Audio Sources

  • USB: available by connecting a USB key to one of the 4 ports on the Core
  • Radio: available when the CORE is connected to the Internet
  • Bluetooth: available by connecting the streaming device via the Bluetooth dongle attached to the Core. For more details, please refer to the Network section. Streaming is possible from any source with active Bluetooth.
  • NDI: available after configuration

Each source has dedicated EQ presets.

4. Light Tools

4.1 Commands

In this section, the lighting channels are available, and for each one it is possible to adjust the dimming level and the light control parameters.
