City Walk Dubai is an urban living concept with a unique mix of innovative retail and upscale gourmet outlets. Representatives for the outdoor retail complex were in need for high-performance speakers that combined sleek, compact design with professional sound for a particular display.
Simulating an enchanted forest, the entrance to the children’s level at the mall contains a display lined with fabricated hollow tree structures where the client wanted to replicate the sounds of birds tweeting and the autumn breeze blowing without affecting the creative setup. Redwood Technologies, a home technology and AV system services company based in Dubai, created a system using 18 white Tornado-KT2 point sources hidden within the display.
