Luminiscence Immersive Experience US
LUMINISCENCE made its North American debut at Saint Mary’s Basilica in Minneapolis, bringing the acclaimed immersive experience, which is touring in Europe and the Americas, to a major U.S. landmark. The brief was to adapt the 360° video‑mapping, lighting and spatial audio concept to a historic, fully active basilica without altering its architecture or disrupting daily worship. The client required a system that delivered cinematic immersion during performances yet remained completely invisible outside show hours. This meant designing projection, lighting and a K‑array audio system that blended seamlessly into the Beaux‑Arts structure while supporting narration, live choir, organ and orchestral music with clarity and precision.
Riga Circus
Riga Circus, Europe's oldest permanent circus in Latvia, underwent a historic renovation featuring K-array's innovative audio systems. Installed by RJK integrators with Tet A Tek as the technology distributor and NRJA architecture studio, the project integrates advanced audio technology like KGEAR products, Mugello-KH2 speakers, Kommander amplifiers, and K-Framework software. Designed as a multipurpose venue, it offers perfect acoustics and energy efficiency.
Rio 2016 Olympic Torch Relay
Before the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games kicked off in Rio, the Olympic torch made its way throughout Brazil to 300 cities over the course of five months, promoting the spirit and life of games with K-array by its side. Nissan, the official sponsor of Rio 2016, selected K-array to provide audio reinforcement for a mobile stage truck that accompanied the torch throughout its journey for announcements and performances by renowned national and local artists.
New Generation Festival
In August 2018, the second edition of the New Generation Festival was held in the lush garden of the prestigious Palazzo Corsini al Prato in Florence. The opera, theater and music festival is the brainchild of three young English creatives, Maximilian Fane, Roger Granville and Frankie Parham, with the aim of breaking down the barriers between generations and musical genres by providing a platform for young talents from all over the world.
Auditorium in West Papua
The Auditorium in West Papua was designed by Robert Arnold Sitorus, leader of IAI ( Ikatan Arsitek Indonesia ), commissioned by the mayor of Sorong. He wanted to create something memorable to celebrate the culture and art of West Papua, the native tribes and ancestral routes. The building will be used as a meeting place for the local government, the private sector and the community. For this building a clear sound experience where productivity, a sense of belonging without compromising the architecture and the aesthetic was required.
