GS218

The KGEAR GS218 is an 18 inch subwoofer designed for professional subwoofer and professional audio applications requiring deep, powerful low-frequency performance in a compact and robust enclosure. Engineered for both indoor and semi-outdoor installations, it is ideal for clubs, theaters, large-scale live events, and high-output PA systems.

Equipped with two 18” ferrite magnet woofers, the GS218 delivers deep and controlled bass with a frequency response of 30 Hz – 150 Hz (-6 dB). With a 138 dB peak SPL and 126 dB continuous, and handling up to 3000 W of power, it provides consistent low-frequency reinforcement for line array loudspeaker systems, touring setups, and professional audio installations.

As a passive subwoofer, the GS218 features a 4 Ω nominal impedance and 2× SpeakON NL4 connectors, ensuring secure and efficient integration with professional amplification systems. Its omnidirectional design allows flexible placement while maintaining even bass coverage.

The GS218A variant is a powered subwoofer, equipped with the same dual 18” ferrite magnet woofers, a 4-channel Class-D amplifier delivering 4×1500 W @ 4Ω, and advanced protection including thermal, short-circuit, RMS, and peak limiters. Connectivity includes 2x Combo Jack/XLR inputs, 1x RJ45, and 1x SpeakON output, with 4 Ω nominal impedance, allowing seamless integration into modern audio systems.

The enclosure is built from eucalyptus plywood, and rated IP43 (GS218) / IP41 (GS218A). Dimensions are 1035 × 614 × 600 mm, with weights of 58 kg (GS218) / 59 kg (GS218A), offering the perfect balance of power, durability, and portability for professional applications.
