GS6

The KGEAR GS6 and GS6A are compact 6 inch subwoofers designed to extend low-frequency performance in professional subwoofer, mini subwoofer, and indoor subwoofer applications where space efficiency and audio clarity are essential. Their discreet form factor makes them ideal for retail sound systems, restaurants, and hospitality venues.

Both models are equipped with a 6” ferrite magnet woofer, delivering a controlled and natural bass response with a frequency range of 55 Hz – 140 Hz (-6 dB average) and omnidirectional coverage. The GS6 reaches up to 108 dB peak SPL, while the GS6A delivers 104 dB peak SPL, ensuring reliable low-frequency reinforcement in compact environments.

The GS6 is a passive subwoofer featuring 120 W power handling and a 4 Ω nominal impedance. It connects via a Phoenix connector with speaker relaunch (4-pin Euroblock), allowing simple integration into distributed audio systems. Rated IP43, it is suitable for indoor and protected outdoor subwoofer installations.

The GS6A is an active subwoofer with a built-in 1-channel Class-D amplifier delivering 100 W @ 2 Ω (24 V power). It includes advanced safety features such as thermal protection, power limiting, and short-circuit/overload protection, along with Auto ON/OFF with selectable threshold for efficient energy management. Connectivity includes 2× Phoenix connectors (4-pin Euroblock) with balanced line input, mute contact, power out, and 12–24 V DC input (power supply not included). The GS6A is rated IP41, making it ideal for controlled indoor environments.

Both subwoofers share the same ultra-compact enclosure made from MDF, with dimensions of 170 × 310 × 310 mm and a weight of just 3.2 kg, ensuring easy installation even in space-constrained locations.
